Microsoft Store Launch and Major Screen Text Capture Upgrade

  • Float Translate is now officially available in Microsoft Store. Microsoft Store manages installation and updates.
  • The Microsoft Store and direct versions store local data separately. Settings and history are not migrated automatically.
  • Added a Screenshot and Copy workflow. Select an area of the screen and copy the captured image directly to the clipboard without running OCR or opening a result window.
  • You can now copy a capability's pinned display locations to other capabilities, reducing repetitive setup.

  • Screen Text Capture (formerly Cursor Lookup) received a major upgrade. Text near the cursor is now located and recognized more accurately in images, videos, games, and regular apps, with more reliable word and full-sentence results. When screen OCR is needed on Windows, the default configuration uses Windows Built-in OCR. If another language is inaccurate, install and select its Windows OCR support, or choose another OCR capability in a workflow.
  • Improved progress feedback when translation runs in silent mode, showing AI thinking status and translation generation progress to make the wait clearer.
  • Improved the Workflows list with clearer step and status displays. Workflows can now also be run directly from the Workflows list and Shortcut Settings.
  • Improved descriptions for items in Shortcut Settings, making each action's purpose and behavior easier to understand.
  • Improved translation and OCR capability selection in workflow nodes, making the current configuration clearer and easier to review and adjust.
  • Failed operations now show more specific reasons and let you copy error details for troubleshooting and feedback.

  • Improved OCR, the Translation Panel, and the Floating Capsule. Fixed issues where some built-in services did not translate or read aloud in the selected target language, and reduced lost results, interrupted translations, and window interaction issues.
