History, Favorites & Statistics
Float Translate separates records into three task-focused pages: History for earlier results, Library for items you chose to keep, and Statistics for an overview of translation activity.
History
Section titled “History”Open History from the main navigation, then switch between translation and OCR records. Translation history can be searched and filtered by date so you can return to a source text or result without repeating the original lookup.
Library
Section titled “Library”Use the star action on a translation result to save it to Library. On the Library page you can:
- Search saved text.
- Filter by text unit or how an item was added.
- Sort by date, alphabet, text unit, last seen time, or view count.
- Open a saved translation snapshot and run translation again when you need a fresh result.
- Enter management mode to remove several items.
Saving an item is intentional: browsing history does not automatically add every record to Library.
Statistics
Section titled “Statistics”Open Statistics to review translation activity for today or the last 7, 30, or 90 days. The page shows translation count, word and character totals, daily averages, and activity breakdowns.
If a record is missing
Section titled “If a record is missing”- Check that you are on the correct History tab.
- Broaden the search text or date range.
- Confirm that history retention is enabled for the related translation, OCR, service, or capability settings.
- Look in Library only for results you explicitly saved with the star action.
